Amanda & Kyle at the Laurel Packing House
Amanda & Kyle got married on a Friday in May, and it was a perfect, sunny day. I'd met them and their cute son, Carter, previously at their engagement session (future clients: engagement sessions prior to the wedding are SUCH a good way to get both you and me as your photographer comfortable and ready for the wedding day!) We started with a first look at the Kasugai Gardens in Kelowna, followed by photos with the bride, groom and their wedding party. We headed to the boardwalk after that for bridal photos (future clients also note: on Fridays in May, expect a lot of grads haha). I loved this location because there are different "backdrops" all within a few meters of each other. We got a foresty feel, a cute gazebo, and lake views all within our hour and a half dedicated to bridal photos. Their ceremony took place at the Laurel Packing House. This was my first time shooting at this venue and WOW was it beautiful. I'm a sucker for old brick, and this venue is full of it. Amanda & Kyle followed their ceremony with a grand entrance and champagne toast on the deck, family photos, and a fun reception with a selfie booth for them and their guests to take photos! We got a gorgeous golden/blue hour to wrap up the most magical day.
