Jame's and Kyra's wedding took place at their family home in Coldstream, BC, on a moody, slightly smokey afternoon at the start of September. They were married in a short but sweet ceremony, with all of their closest people present. From the locally grown florals and home-cooked food, the guest book with polaroids, to Kyra's gorgeous lace gown, the details were all perfect. James and Kyra's 2 special requests were that their gallery include lots of candid photos of their guests and black and white copies of their bridal portraits. I don't usually include BWs in my blog posts, but did you know that EVERY wedding gallery I deliver will include some black and white bridal portraits? BWs have such a special nostalgic feel, and they're an important part of a wedding gallery, in my opinion. We walked down an orchard road for couple photos and went to a nearby park for a quick couple of photos with a killer sunset. All in all, a magical and love filled afternoon!
