LeeAnn and Brayden's day was perfect. We met at Dilworth Park for the most special first look and Bridal portraits; the lighting was phenomenal (there's not much I love more than midday photos in overcast weather), and we even brought out the umbrellas during a few moments of light rain. Their families met us at Dilworth later on for family photos, and since no one had seen LeeAnn in her dress yet, we did an impromptu first look with the family. From there we headed to LeeAnn & Brayden's beautiful ceremony site in their backyard. A massive downpour caused a tiny bit of chaos pre-ceremony, but luckily the weather cleared JUST in time for their ceremony to take place in the yard as planned. Their little guy, James, walked down the aisle with his dad which was an extra cute and special moment. Cocktail hour was so much fun! A shuttle bus picked up the whole wedding to relocate to the most STUNNING reception venue: the Modest Butcher at Mt Boucherie Estate Winery (the food was beyond delicious). First dances and speeches were emotional and heart-felt (as always, I was taking photos through my tears haha), and I am simply obsessed with the evening light photos that we took outside the venue. BIGGEST advice to future clients: even if you don't have the sun out at golden hour, TAKE. THE. EVENING. PHOTOS. You will not regret it, the lighting cannot be beat, sun or no sun. We ended the evening with a big group photo outside!
