I made a day trip to Oliver for Marissa & Mike's wedding on July 23. A word to the wise, never EVER underestimate traffic through West Kelowna; I left myself an extra hour of travel time and was still dangerously close to my start time when I arrived. Marissa & Mike's wedding venue was the Venables Theatre and it was SO COOL. The ladies got glam in the greenroom of the theatre, the ceremony took place in the gorgeous courtyard, and we drove down the road to some public trails for bridal photos to get that Southern BC desert vibe. The reception took place in the lobby of the theatre; a stunning circular space flooded with natural light and a dramatic balcony and staircase for the bride and groom's grand entrance as Mr & Mrs. This wedding was filled with so much laughter and sweetness!
